Classic, intentionally selected antique furnishings complement the home's historic personality, while original artwork adds another layer of individual character. A sitting area features a pull-out futon for lounging, reading, or relaxing together. (Please note that the futon is not intended to accommodate additional guests and does not increase the home's maximum occupancy of 6). Important Staircase Caution: **The staircase to the second floor is very steep, and both upstairs bedrooms open directly toward the stairs. ** The first step down is immediately outside each bedroom doorway. Handrails are provided, but guests should use particular caution when entering and exiting these rooms. Because of this unusual staircase and bedroom-door configuration, the home is not recommended for young children. ☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆ With 3 full bathrooms, there's plenty of room for a group of six to get ready for mornings by the water, afternoons around town, or evenings enjoying Provincetown. Each bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and essentials, making it easier to settle in without bringing everything from home. ☆☆ KITCHEN & RELAXING AREAS ☆☆ Spend slow mornings at home, reconnect over meals, or settle into the living spaces after a full day exploring Provincetown. Throughout the house, antique furnishings, original artwork, and historic details preserve the home's individual personality and give your stay a sense of place beyond a typical vacation rental. Modern comforts are thoughtfully mixed in with that character. Central A/C with wall thermostats and ceiling fans help keep everyone comfortable throughout the house. For longer stays and beach days, guests have access to the washer and dryer in the basement, along with beach gear for sunny days by the water. ** Please note that the small inflatable boat and other personal gear in the basement are not available for guest use. The attic is also not accessible to guests, and the kitchen supply closet remains locked for private use. ** ☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆ Make the most of sunny Ptown days by relaxing in the backyard, exclusively available for guests of the main house. Fire up the BBQ or smoker, relax outdoors, and enjoy having your own place to unwind after exploring Provincetown. The property also includes off-street parking for 2 cars, located next to the boat. Please note: This listing is for the main house, but there is a separate artist casita/studio on the same property. The casita is not included with the house rental and may be occupied by another person or party during your stay. Guests of the main house retain use of the backyard. Entry to the main house is simple with a smart lock/keypad, along with backup key access. For additional parking, we're just a block from the Montello-Bradford Parking Lot, which has an additional fee. The Town of Provincetown enforces metered parking from May 1 - October 31, 7 days per week, from 8 am-Midnight. Parking is free in Town of Provincetown lots from November 1 - April 30 The closest large parking lot is the MacMillian Pier Parking lot, located in the center of town by Lopes Square.
